It has been a very busy week in the gardens! Spring has sprung in Michigan and everyone is anxious to dig in. Due to warmer temperatures and lots of rain, plants are growing like weeds and weeds are growing like crazy.
I am excited to share pictures from my recent trip to P. Allen Smith’s Moss Mountain Farm for the Garden Bloggers Reunion (exciting times!) and others from gardens I tended recently. I hope you enjoy this week’s garden photos!
Hi there. My name is Anita and I am teaching my 5th grade students how to raise plants. We have used our school greenhouse, all summer, have moved to an outdoor garden and are now decorating and caring for our garden. I have see some tire planters, with your name attached, but can find instructions. I’ve made a frog planter, but the ladybug planter is very interesting to us. Most of it looks self explanatory but we can’t figure out what you used for the head. Can you assist some very interested 5the graders?
Hello Anita!
Bravo to you for getting children involved in growing, Anita! Unfortunately we do not have instructions for the ladybug. However, I will try to find out what her head is made of!
May all your gardens grow,
Jan
I’m sorry, that should be used our greenhouse all winter.
